Does your child have a new autism diagnosis*?

Some parents and caregivers find this a challenging time, as they navigate emotions, services, and making sense of what parenthood has been and what it may be in the future. It's common to feel isolation, overwhelm, relief, numbness, validation, and more.

Please join our free virtual support meeting for parents and caregivers. It's a safe place to ask questions, share experiences, or just listen in on what others have to share.

*Please note: We are aware there are many people that may be autistic and have not received a formal diagnosis, or tried to get a formal diagnosis and were told they are not autistic. We will not exclude them! If you are new to thinking your child has autism, please consider joining us.

This Meeting Is...

Is this therapy?

Although the lead facilitator for these meetings is a clinical mental health counselor, this is not a therapy or counseling group, and should not take the place of counseling, mental health treatment, or a formal therapy group.

"OUR JOB AS PARENTS IS NOT TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE COMFORTABLE WITH HOW WE RAISE OUR KIDS.

OUR JOB IS TO MAKE SURE OUR KIDS GROW UP IN A FAMILY WHERE THEY'RE COMFORTABLE BEING EXACTLY WHO THEY ARE."
